First things first. I own a garden gnome. As of three days ago, he officially moved from the trunk of my car where he spent the summer in storage to my apartment. Why do I own a garden gnome? It's a long complicated story that I don't really remember. I only know that this has fulfilled a college-long dream of owning a garden gnome.
Tomorrow is my first official day as a college senior (Technically I've been a senior for a year, but only credit-wise). This means I should figure out my future sometime soon. It might be helpful. Probably.
I still really want to go to Fiji.
I have learned to play the ukulele. Granted, I only know four chords, but that still counts right?
I have made some amazing friends this summer. I have realized that I have missed having really good guy friends. For some reason I didn't have that many last year, but now I do again so it is all good.
I've come to realize that I like the idea of liking someone. The only problem is that I don't like anyone. Patience is not my strong point. I want to know my future, and I want to know it now. One of my good friends shared this quote from Neal A. Maxwell with me. "Faith in God includes faith in His timing." I feel like this is such a good reminder for me as I struggle to figure out where my life is headed.

You make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI like this post a lot. I love that quote by Elder Neal A. Maxwell too. We all need that reminder at some point or another. I know you will get it all figured out.
Love you!
I'm glad you fulfilled your college-long dream of owning a garden gnome! :) Oh and be glad you'll only have one "official" senior year of college. I'll be a senior for the next 2-3 years!!! :) Just thought I'd add some joy to your life. Love you!
