So once again I find it has been forever since I updated. Since then quite a lot has happened. Like it normally does when time passes. I know! What a shocker!
Lets start off with the basics. I hate decisions. The End.
So I really wish I could just end there, but this would make this the most meaningless post ever! (Which is saying something when you think about some of my other ones). Basically, I am bored and sitting in bed because I am sick (again), and I am in the throes of despair because I lost one half of one of my favorite pair of earrings ever! (They are from Tibet and randomly match this one shirt I have perfectly).
Let's talk about decisions again. I hate them. Really I just hate serious ones. Though the other day it took me 20 minutes to decide which cookie dough to buy at the store. Anyways, this semester is going to be full of tough choices. For example, I have a grand total of six classes left to take before I can graduate. This is a very scary thing. I should probably be looking at internships right now, but being a grown-up scares me.
Ah being a grown-up. I alternate between feeling like a child and a responsible adult. Not really so much the last one as just feeling old. My brother has a girlfriend and can drive. That makes me feel old! Yet, I still call my mom and dad when I need help. Which, let's face it, I need a lot. Though, now that I have a job I don't like to spend money. I like to save it. Which is what I did as a child too actually. Unlike my brother who immediately spent his allowance, I realized you could buy more expensive things if you had more money.
So another random thing is that I have realized that I am a really big history nerd. This really shouldn't surprise me since half of my books are historical fiction but it does. I just spent and hour and a half watching the history channel instead of this chick flick that I watched during commercial that was really good. (Note to self: rent the movie later). Though I admit I was really riveted because it talked a lot about my favorite city ever! Berlin!
So I'm pretty sure I could have ended this post earlier because most of what I said was meaningless drivel. On the bright side, I have staved off boredom for a little bit longer!

ReplyDeleteFirst...let me just say that I'm totally jealous that you only have 6 more classes to take before you can graduate! That's like a semester and a half if you don't take any others...so basically 2 semesters...although I'm sure you could drag it out longer if you so chose :P I so wish I was only 2 semesters away from graduating! I've decided I shall be a perpetual senior because I have to wait another year (at the LEAST!) until I can start into the 2 year nursing program...and even then it will only be an associate degree...oh well. (Think I've rambled along enough about that)
ReplyDeleteSecond...You are the best decision maker ever! :P please note the sarcasm. :P I remember that I had to pick out your outfits some days...I have even helped you pick out an outfit for a date that you've had since I've been gone...and those are small minor decisions. :P
Third, I'm sorry you lost one half of your favorite pair of earrings! I hope you find it...one day!
And last but not least...I miss you tons! You should come and visit me...The end. (I can ramble as much as you can :P )
